Dan McMeans was encouraged early on to put his thoughts on paper because his college professors always thought he was expressive and creative. Let’s go on a journey with Dan McMeans as he explores the adventures of the Lawndale Gang, which are born from his true coming-of-age experiences. Dan’s second book asks us to look at the mind as a tool rather than something of an abstract origin. And when we do that, we can explore the boundaries of our bountiful mind for our highest quests.
Mind Expansion
This book is a collection of essays and notes on key life takeaways that explore the depths of the mind, body, and spirit. It closes the gap between the full potential of our mind and our limiting fears, allowing us to expand our bountiful mindfulness without fear and explore with freedom. Because freedom is our full liberty to spread our wings, soar to our new potential, be bold and courageous, and be responsible with our feet on the ground.
It also allows our minds to explore the boundaries as far as our God has created us to live a life that resonates with His will for
our best interest.

Reviews
Mind Expansion is not a book you rush through. Each chapter made me pause and reflect. It challenges
how we think about growth, spirituality, and responsibility in a way that feels grounded rather than
abstract.
Jonathan Parker
I appreciated how the author bridges faith and modern consciousness without pushing extremes. The
ideas feel researched, thoughtful, and practical. This book encouraged me to look inward while staying
rooted in everyday life.
Karen Whitfield
This book helped me rethink what personal growth really means. It’s not about escaping reality, but
engaging with it more fully. The emphasis on balance between mind, body, and spirit really resonated
with me.
Robert Jenkins
Mind Expansion reads like a conversation with someone who has spent years asking hard questions
about life and faith. I found myself underlining passages and revisiting chapters because the insights felt
both personal and universal.
Melissa Grant
What stood out to me was the sense of responsibility woven into the idea of expansion. The book
doesn’t promise easy answers, it encourages awareness, discipline, and purpose. It’s thoughtful and
quietly powerful.

Reading this felt like stepping back into a time when friendship meant everything. The Lawndale Gang
isn’t just about adventure, it’s about loyalty, faith, and growing up together. Each story builds on the
last, and by the end, I genuinely felt connected to the group.
Michael Thompson
What surprised me most was how seamlessly real-life emotion blended with myth and spirituality. The
adventures are fun and imaginative, but the heart of the book is the bond between the characters. It
reminded me why stories about friendship still matter.
Susan Reynolds
This book reads like a series of memories transformed into legend. The gang’s challenges, both physical
and moral, felt authentic, and the recurring theme of choosing good over evil was powerful without
being heavy-handed.
David Collins
I expected a nostalgic coming-of-age story, but I got something much deeper. The Lawndale Gang stories
combine history, faith, and adventure in a way that keeps you engaged while still leaving you with
something to think about.”
Brian Matthews
By the final chapters, I felt like I knew these kids personally. Their courage, unity, and sense of purpose
stayed with me long after I finished reading. This is a book about growing up without losing your values.
